One of the finest waterfront properties on Lake Travis, about 25
minutes from downtown Austin, located in the Lakeway resort community. The property has 270 degrees of lake view and nearly 300 feet of waterfront.
The home construction was completed in August 2007. The entire property is fenced and gated with an entrance
code. Lake Travis is known for being the cleanest lake in Texas.
The home has two stories. The entire first floor and its three large bedrooms (King Room, Queen Room, and Queen Room 2) are available for your vacation stay. The first floor and second floor seal off from one another. Each floor has its own entrance. Both the first floor and the second floor were designed to be, and are, a complete home separate from the other floor. We the owners remain in residence (we live on the second floor and have our own entrance) and will respect your privacy during your stay. Guests have their own private entrance on the first floor.
The King Room and Queen Room are connected by a large bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Also included in your rental is the game room, a full kitchen, a pool bath with walk-in shower, a library/office with a piano, and exercise room access (see yellow area on layout below). The Queen Room 2 has a private sitting area and its own bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower (see orange area on layout below). Every bedroom has a large flatscreen TV with cable, DVD player, and high speed wireless internet. The green area on the layout below is your lanai/veranda for your outdoor living pleasure. Your lanai has a firepit and ample comfortable seating.

The King Room (1st photo below) and the Queen Room (2nd photo below) both have lake views, but the lake views from the King Room are excellent and superior to those of the Queen Room. The lake views from the Queen Room 2 (3rd photo below) are excellent.
The Game Room has excellent lake views, a large flatscreen TV with DVR, Blu-ray DVD player, Playstation 3, Wii, CD changer, iPod/MP3 player connection, pool table, poker table, foosball, chess, checkers, and board games.
The infinity pool has forty-five feet of negative edge that waterfalls twenty feet into a lower lap pool. A "greased lightning" slide connects the top and bottom pools. There is an outdoor kitchen at poolside with gas grill, running water, refrigerator, and icemaker. The circular spa has a 360 degree negative edge. An outdoor hot and cold pool shower is nearby for your convenience. The pool bath has an outside entrance.
The home has walk down lake access on a deep water point that ensures excellent boating. The property has a private boat ramp. Some of the best water skiing on the lake is just a few hundred yards from the home. If you are bringing your own boat, for a daily fee, we can provide a slip on property for boats up to 26 feet. The Lakeway Marina is just a few hundred yards away with rentals of ski boats, jet skis, and sailboats. To make watercraft rental even more simple, the marina has agreed to pick-up and drop-off our guests on our dock. Sailing lessons are also available.
The mornings are perfect for kayaking. We have a 2-person kayak for your use. We have a large two story boat dock that is great for enjoying the sunset or stargazing. The boat dock has a gas fire pit on the top level that is perfect for campfire tales and making s'mores with the kids. Swimming and floating near the dock is a favorite activity. The dock has a "leap of faith" swing from the top level that is not for the faint of heart.
For guided fishing trips, a renowned fishing guide will pick you up on our boat dock (extra fee and must be reserved). The fishing on the lake is remarkably good. You may fish from the boat dock and shoreline as well.
If you are a birdwatcher, the birding is generally very good with dozens of species of resident and migratory birds easily seen. Ducks, herons, and songbirds are abundant. Purple martins grace our property from spring to fall. Ospreys and hawks ply the surface of the lake for fish. Whitetail deer are abundant. Raccoons, armadillos, squirrels, and foxes are often seen.
If you are into the culinary arts, our fresh herb garden seasonally features rosemary, chives, basil, mint, oregano, thyme, fennel, tarragon, sage, parsley, dill, cilantro, lavender, and lemongrass.
There are 5 golf courses (Falconhead, Flintrock Falls, The Hills, Live Oak, Yaupon) within three to ten minutes of our home. Four of the five golf courses are Club Corp properties.
If you are arriving via private plane, the Lakeway Air Park is just 5 minutes away. The Austin airport is only 35 minutes away.
There is a 3 mile scenic hike and bike trail just a few minutes from the home. There are numerous dining opportunities (not to mention the restaurants ON the lake) and a large shopping mall (Hill Country Galleria) nearby. The Lakeway Resort & Conference Center is five minutes from the property, offering meeting facilities, dining and a spa. Massages can be arranged by appointment at the property. Limousine service is available nearby. There are several excellent spas nearby as well, including Lake Austin Spa, rated Number One by Conde Nast. Also, we are able to obtain tickets to nearly every major event occurring in or near Austin (even the sold-out ones) for relatively reasonable prices. Whether you come here to be active or to just relax and enjoy the scenery, this home has it all.
